Murray is primarily focused on deal execution and strategic and financial exits at Jerusalem Fund Management. He co-founded the law firm of Stubbs, Alderton & Markiles, LLP where he serves as a Managing Partner. Previously, he was a Senior Partner in the corporate, media and high technology practice group of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP, one of the world’s largest law firms, where he specialized in sophisticated domestic and cross-border international public and private transactions. Murray has acted as lead counsel in sophisticated and novel transactions ranging from going private tender offers, to public and private mergers and acquisitions, to numerous initial and secondary public offerings and private equity transactions. He started his law career at Hill, Wynne Troop & Meisinger, LLP, a leading Los Angeles corporate and entertainment legal practice, where he ultimately became a partner. Murray earned his J.D. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he also received his undergraduate degree.
